Colombia 5 - Bolivia 0

Barranquilla and red-hot Colombia welcomed Bolivia to town in what promised to be the most one-sided of the four matches on CONMEBOL Matchday Eleven.  Colombia's attack was hitting on all cylinders on this day, and their intricate passing movements led to the first goal.  Teofilo Gutierrez drove up the pitch before passing to Radamel Falcao, who sent it wide to Guillermo Cuadrado, who cut the ball back for a wide open Macnelly Torres, who finished easily for the opening strike.  Bolivia were nevertheless down only 1-0 at halftime.

It took two minutes for Colombia to double the lead after halftime.  A short free kick from the side of the box led to a goal after an initial block from Abel Aguilar's header was knocked home on the rebound by Carlos Valdes.  The third came just beyond the hour mark with a long through ball from Torres reaching Gutierrez, who finished under pressure from the onrushing goalkeeper.  A fourth was found less than five minutes from full time when a cross from the left side by Pablo Armero found two Colombians open inside the six-yard box.  Falcao got to the ball before Gutierrez, so the goal goes to Falcao.  In stoppage time, Armero provided the goal of the day with an corner-of-the-penalty-area chip over the goalkeeper who had come out to slide tackle him.  Colombia win 5-0.
