Match Schedule: October 2013

October 2013 will be the month that most clears up the qualification picture for Brasil 2014.  Africa will feature only five matches, but these are all the first legs of two-legged playoff series.  South America goes through its final two matchdays.  Three more teams will qualify directly to Brasil this month from the home continent, but only one team will be eliminated.  Seven teams will qualify from Europe this month while fourteen more will be eliminated, including one very unlucky second-place finisher.  North America will send one final contender into the finals this month while seeing two of its teams getting the boot.  An additional ten teams worldwide will be booking their arrangements for do-or-die playoff series in November.
