Match Schedule: October 2011

October 2011 features the long awaited debut of the South American teams in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Four of the nine CONMEBOL sides will qualify directly to the FIFA World Cup finals hosted by their brothers in Brasil. A fifth will advance to the playoffs against an AFC side. Speaking of the AFC, their third matchday of their Third Round takes place in October. CONCACAF will play two matchdays in their Second Round, and a wave of eliminations will hit the Caribbean basin this month.
