The Dominican Republic, off an unexpectedly decent performance at El Salvador, returned to San Cristobal to take on visiting Suriname. Suriname were able to quiet the crowd with a penalty midway through the first period. Friso Mando converted the kick as he had done in Suriname's opening 1-0 win against the Cayman Islands.
The Dominican Republic were clearly the better side in the second half, and their higher level of play netted them an equalizer through a goal midway through the second period. The Dominicans tried desperately to find a winner, but to no avail. The points were split after a 1-1 draw.
El Salvador, after a scoreless first half in their first match and an underwhelming performance against the Dominican Republic, visited the Cayman Islands in Georgetown. Again, the group favorites gave an underwhelming first half performance that led to a 0-0 halftime score and increased confidence for the home side.
El Salvador finally came alive somewhat in the second period. The first goal arrived after five minutes of play. Defender Luis Anaya scored midway through the period for a 2-0. Again, as in their previous game, El Salvador's defense suffered a letdown, and the Cayman Islands pulled to within 2-1 after a successful penalty kick. Anaya scored with ten minutes left to give El Salvador breathing room at 3-1. After El Salvador's fourth found the net deep into second half stoppage time, the referee blew time. El Salvador wins 4-1 to lead the group with 6 points.
